Meet The Teacher:

Hello, I’m Kate.

I discovered Yoga in my tumultuous 20s, at first simply enjoying the movement itself, but very quickly discovering the many other benefits. I swiftly became committed to a regular weekly practice, which has gradually evolved into a life practice.

I have been teaching Yoga in South Bristol for ten years and I am passionate about sharing the physical benefits of a regular Yoga practice, and the more subtle, therapeutic benefits discovered through a mind-body practice.

Both my own practice and teaching continue to be inspired and informed by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli A fluid, intuitive, contemporary approach to Yoga which combines movement with steady conscious breathing, to help us feel more connected and work more sensitively with the body.

Focusing on You

I strive to update my knowledge with continued learning. I have dived deep into anatomy and movement with a one-year intensive training with Gary Carter (Natural Bodies), completed a 9 week Foundations In Teaching Mindfulness Meditation with Yoga Campus, and am currently undertaking a further two-year Yoga Therapy Training with the Devon School of Yoga.
